Cold and Hot Processed Soaps

Here you will find all of my "Old Fashion" soaps that are available for purchase.

I am very proud of the ingredients I use in my soaps.  They are made from quality oils consisting of vegetable oils, fruit oils, and nut oils.  And yes, on occasion I also make a truly old fashion soap with lard.  Lard has a very high level of lather and suds producing properties.  For my vegetarian and vegan customers, please check the ingredients for the addition of lard.

Each bar weights approximately 3.3 - 4.5 ounces.  Because soap will continue to cure, the actual weight will vary.

If you see a soap you would like customized, please contact me.  I will be happy to make a batch (minimum 2 pounds) for you with prepayment of 50% due before and the balance prior to shipping.  NO refunds once the batch has been made.  Batches made using the cold-process method require a curing time of 4 weeks minimum before they are shipped.  Hot-processed soaps can be shipped within one week.

Aloe & White Lilac 3.5 - 3.8 oz $4.95 each	The smell of sweet lilacs and subtle aloe is in the air! A fresh combination of petitgrain, Italian bergamot, and ozonic notes; middle notes of lilac, lily of the valley, and hints of tuberose; base notes of sweet vanilla, amber, precious musk, and oakmoss. This is one of my old fashion hand-crafted soaps. I make my old fashion soaps in small batches from the finest ingredients like olive oil, castor oil, and aloe. This is one of my popular soaps that I wholesale to a small boutique in Zephyrhills. Their customers rave about it and request that I bring more into the store. Brightly wrapped and the perfect gift for any friend, family member, or that special someone. Approximate weight 3.5 - 3.8 oz. Ingredients: distilled water, olive oil, soybean, coconut oil, palm oil, sodium hydroxide, vegetable glycerin, titanium dioxide, green pigment oxide, (less than .015% fragrance oil).
Dragon's Blood 3.7 - 4.1 oz Sale (while supplies last) $3.99 each	FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY.  TWO DRAGON'S BLOOD SOAP FOR THE PRICE OF ONE! It contain the actual resin of dragon's blood and proprietary blend of other resins and minerals including sea salt. Average bar weight is 3.7 - 4.1 oz. Ingredients: distilled water, rice bran oil, coconut oil, palm kernel oil, palm oil, sodium hydroxide, shea oil, macadamia oil, jojoba oil, a proprietary blend of resins and minerals, red oxide pigment, fragrance oil.
Luscious Lavender 3.5 - 3.7 oz $4.95 each	Luscious Lavender has the aroma of lavender fields and the coloring of lavender and pink. I make my cold process and hot process soaps in small 2 - 4 pound batches to ensure you receive a fresh bar of my decadent soaps. Before I make any new type of soap, I use a software that is specifically designed to help soap makers determine the quality of each bar. Luscious Lavender is a slightly harder bar of soap with above average stable Lather and an even higher moisturizing content. The ingredients that were used to create this aromatic soap are olive oil, coconut oil, soybean oil, palm oil, castor oil, cocoa butter, sodium hydroxide, soap coloring, and lavender fragrance oil. The Soap Magician soaps are formulated to be mild. There are no animal products in this soap and it has not been tested on any animals. My Maine Coon is happy to hear this! I have included, for information purposes only, the qualities of each oil contained in my Luscious Lavender soap. Olive oil:   Is excellent as a base oil in soaps, either in whole (Castile soap) or in part. Olive Oil prevents the loss of your skin's natural moisture, softens skin and attracts external moisture to your skin. It helps keeps your skin soft, supple and younger looking. Olive oil has the properties of being calming, demulcent and emollient. Olive Oil is high in oleic acid and is a good skin cell regenerator. Olive Oil attracts external moisture to the skin and still permits the skin to properly release sweat, shed dead skin and release sebum. Coconut oil:   Is useful in formulations for dry, itchy, sensitive skin. It will not clog pores, and it absorbs readily into the skin. Coconut oil is a gift to the soap making industry because of its resistance to rancidity and contribution towards making a hard bar of soap with a wonderfully fluffy lather. Coconut oil is light and non-greasy. Coconut oil even lathers in very hard water or even sea water. Soybean Oil:   Produces a mild, stable lather. Soy lipids are high in natural vitamin E (an antioxidant). Antioxidants may help restore damaged tissue and regenerate skin cells. The lipids also allow for rapid hydration and cell regeneration. They are high in lecithin, which is instrumental in skin repair and regeneration. The antioxidants in soy lipids also help in eliminating free oxygen radicals that can lead to skin damage. Palm Oil:   Also known as Vegetable Tallow. Palm oil makes a hard bar that cleans well and is also mild. It is a good substitute for tallow in all-vegetable soaps. Palm oil is universal and used in many expensive luxury soaps. Palm oil is produced from the pulp or flesh of the fruit of the oil palm. Palm oil contains an equal proportion of unsaturated acids, containing about 40% oleic acids (monounsaturated), 44% palmitic acids and oleic acids, which are also the major fatty acids produced by the body. It is a natural source of Vitamin E, the tocopherols, and tocotrienols and is also a very rich source of beta-carotene, an important source of Vitamin A. Castor Oil:   This oil, derived from the castor bean and obtained by cold pressure, is rich in fatty acids and very moisturizing and lubricating to the skin in general. It acts as a humectant, attracting moisture to the skin. Cocoa Butter:   I use the grade of cocoa butter that is pure prime pressed. Cocoa butter is a pure, crushed butter obtained from the cacao bean. It has a beautiful, rich aroma of dark chocolate. This edible fat from the cocoa pod is a stable fat containing natural antioxidants that give it a long shelf life of over 3 years. Cocoa butter is a soothing emollient that has been used for centuries in Africa for skin care. It has been traditionally used to heal and moisturize skin that has been exposed to the elements.   Each bar is brightly wrapped and the perfect gift for any friend, family member, or that special someone. Rosemary & Mint Hand-milled Soap 4.1 – 4.5 oz $4.95 each	Hand milled soaps take the guess-work out of making soap the old fashion way. Since the lye has already gone through its stage to become soap, making hand milled soap takes the finished product an extra step further. I make my own old fashion soaps and after trimming the ends, I end up with a lot of extra soap. To utilize these pieces, I grate them and add even more great ingredients to make these even milder bars of soap. Rosemary and Mint has the essential oils of rosemary, peppermint, spearmint, atlas cedarwood, and juniper berries. There is also a generous addition of over an ounce of vegetable glycerin. Tinted to a subtle sage green, these hand milled soaps are light and quite bubbly. My bath and body products are made in small batches, so that you will always receive only the freshest items. Due to them being made by hand, the weight of each sealed bar varies from 4.1 – 4.5 oz.

This is one of my old fashion hand-crafted soaps that was divinely inspired. I make my old fashion soaps in small batches from the finest ingredients like olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil, and aloe. This soap has a higher than average moisture, lathering, and hardness ratio than a normal bar of soap. Brightly wrapped and the perfect gift for any friend, family member, or that special someone. TIPS:
Store your unused soap in a cool dry place.

Use a ventilated soap dish or rack to keep you soap dry while not in use.
